is there enough for you? it's time to feed your soul.

We don’t have any tubs at home anymore, but a fancy hammam shower where you can sit and the water runs along your back. Taking a shower has turned into a soothing wellness experience!

Today Carly was taking a shower and I caught myself starting to say: Carly, you're wasting water!

It would have been an autopilot sentence. One that comes automatically without thinking.

Save, don't waste.

The scarcity mindset we've almost all grown up with is so deep ingrained!

But I chose to not say those words. And finally I chose to let my daughter enjoy the water.

Without guilt, without a sense of scarcity.

I started to reflect how odd it is to crampedly save water - and an hour later wear a pair of jeans that we bought so cheap in sales... Being the water cost of a regular jeans 50 full tubs of water…

We refrain ourselves, our kids, the people around us from enjoying, from being creative, from being free to be who they are out of an unconscious scarcity mindset.

But the truth is life isn’t scarce. Joy isn’t scarce. Creativity isn’t scarce. Love isn’t scarce. Well-being isn’t scarce. Success isn’t scarce.

We live in scarcity because we have put the priorities in values that don’t feed our souls, but our greed.

And now it is time to become aware of what are the values that we want to nurture and create upon.

HERE ARE SOME QUESTIONS FOR YOU:

  • Where are you currently feeding a scarcity mindset for yourself and others - maybe without noticing?

  • What are the things you believe to be finite in business and in your private life? Is it true?

  • How would your success, your life experience be different if those areas would be abundant? How would you act, decide, behave differently?
